2. Quick Start

System Mode Selection
Select the corresponding system mode based on your computer's OS. Slide the system toggle to Win for Windows or Mac for macOS.
Wired Connection
Insert the USB-C data cable into the USB port of the keyboard, and connect the other end of the USB-C data cable to the computer.
Bluetooth Connection
One Bluetooth-enabled device can be connected at a time, with pairing information retained.

1. Slide the mode switch to the BT position, then follow the steps below to connect a Bluetooth device:
2. Press and hold the FN + W/E/R key combination for 3 seconds—the LED on the W/E/R key(s) will flash rapidly in white. Locate VGN V87 V2 BT1 / VGN V87 V2 BT2 / VGN V87 V2 BT3 in your Bluetooth device list, select the device to pair. Once pairing is successful, the LED on the W/E/R key will revert to its normal lighting effect.
2.4G Connection
Remove the USB receiver from the keyboard’s bottom compartment, plug it into your computer’s USB port, slide the mode switch on the keyboard to the 2.4G position, and the keyboard will be ready for use once automatic pairing is complete.
Re-Pairing: Press and hold the FN + Q key combination—during this time, the LED under the Q key will flash rapidly in white, and the keyboard will enter 2.4G pairing mode. Reinsert the receiver into your computer’s USB port. Once connected successfully, the LED will automatically revert to its normal lighting effect.
Keyboard Shutdown
Slide the mode switch to the middle "Wired" position, and unplug the keyboard cable.
3. Key Descriptions

Indicator Lights
A: CAPS Indicator: Distinguishes the case state. It stays on in the uppercase state.
B: Scr Indicator: White light stays on steadily when activated, and turns off after switching.
C: Battery Indicator:
- Low Battery: Red light flashes when battery voltage is below 3.5V
- Charging: Red light stays on steadily while charging; green light stays on steadily when fully charged
D: 2.4G Pairing: Q key white light flashes rapidly (pairing: 1 minute)
2.4G Reconnection: Q key white light flashes slowly (reconnection: 30 seconds)
E: Bluetooth Pairing:
- W key white light flashes rapidly (Bluetooth Channel 1) (Pairing: 1 minute)
- E key white light flashes rapidly (Bluetooth Channel 2) (Pairing: 1 minute)
- R key white light flashes rapidly (Bluetooth Channel 3) (Pairing: 1 minute)
Bluetooth Reconnection:
- W key white light flashes slowly (Bluetooth Channel 1) (Reconnection: 30 seconds)
- E key white light flashes slowly (Bluetooth Channel 2) (Reconnection: 30 seconds)
- R key white light flashes slowly (Bluetooth Channel 3) (Reconnection: 30 seconds)
WIN Key/ALT Key
WIN Key: It cannot be used when the WIN key is locked. In the MAC mode, it functions as the Option key.
ALT Key: In the MAC mode, it functions as the Command key.

6. FAQ
Q: Why is my WIN key not working?
A: When the WIN key is locked after pressing FN + WIN, the WIN key cannot be triggered. At this time, the WIN indicator on the keyboard is on. Press FN + WIN again to unlock it.
